Helping make professional counseling accessible to our community.

When life becomes overwhelming, having someone to turn to can make all the difference. Whether facing anxiety, grief, depression, trauma, family challenges, or an unexpected life transition, everyone deserves access to compassionate, professional support.

For nearly 30 years, New Hope Counseling Center has been walking alongside children, teens, adults, couples, and families throughout southern Lancaster County and surrounding communities.

As a faith-rooted counseling ministry, we believe every person deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect. Our professional counselors provide a welcoming place where individuals and families can find support, work through life's challenges, and move toward healing and hope.

But for many of our neighbors, the cost of counseling can stand in the way of receiving care.

That's where our community makes a difference.

Making Hope Possible

Through our Hope Chest Fund and the generosity of donors, New Hope helps remove financial barriers to professional counseling.

In 2025, community support helped make possible:

• More than 1,400 counseling sessions supported through financial assistance

• More than $90,000 in counseling assistance

• More than 80% of clients receiving some level of financial assistance

Our commitment to accessible care also extends beyond the counseling center. Through our partnership with Solanco High School, students can receive professional counseling during the school day at no cost to students, their families, or the school district.

We've also expanded counseling services for younger children, helping children and families find support during important developmental years.

• $50 helps cover a significant portion of a counseling session.

• $100 can help make a full counseling session possible for someone with significant financial need.

• $300 can help provide several sessions as someone begins working toward healing and stability.

• $500 helps sustain ongoing counseling for an individual or family.

• $1,000 can help provide access to approximately ten professional counseling sessions.
