A nonprofit organization

The New Holland Area Historical Society (NHAHS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization formed in 2005 whose purpose is to collect, organize and preserve information and historical materials that provide insight to understanding the life and times of the New Holland area, and to share these finds with others through museum exhibits, lectures and educational outreach programs.

Our museum is operated by the NHAHS and provides space to store and display artifacts, historic data, photos, literature, and other memorabilia, and make it available to others for educational and research opportunities. The museum is housed on the 2nd floor of the historic Kauffman's Hardware building, owned by the NHAHS and located at 207 East Main Street, New Holland PA.  Hours are Thursday and Saturday from 10 am till 2 pm or by appointment. Parking is located in the rear of the building, along with a rear entrance and elevator access. The Museum is open to the public without an admission charge.
