Mt. Hope is a 50-bed nonprofit, skilled long-term care and rehabilitation facility with six independent living cottages on the campus.  Filling a special niche nestled in the rolling farmlands of Manheim, Mt. Hope's mission is to offer hope by providing affordable, quality care; welcoming seniors and people with disabilities who have limited resources and are on low fixed incomes.  We are an inviting, family-like community where person-centered care emphasizes individual preferences and promotes a sense of belonging.  Mt. Hope provides complete 24/7 skilled nursing care and a fully staffed, onsite rehabilitation program including physical, occupational, speech, and restorative therapies as well as a rehabilitation-to-home specialized program.  Pastoral and Hospice care services give a sense of tender support and connection.  An activity department with a variety of inspirational programming and off campus outings offers something for everyone.

• Mt. Hope provides excellent, affordable care regardless of one's financial status, changing financial or personal circumstances, and ability to pay for the cost of care. 

Mt. Hope is not a fancy facility, but it's home with a rich legacy of caring dating back to 1969.  Mt. Hope seniors find themselves in a comfortable setting surrounded by people who love and care about them.  This care comes from our team of experienced nurses, social worker, life enrichment coordinator, chaplains, dietitians and therapists.  At Mt. Hope, residents experience a sense of belonging and a greater quality of life.  Our compassionate, inviting team works with each one to protect their dignity, to value their individual preferences, and to discover the things that create purpose and meaning in their lives.

• Our goal is to ensure our residents are safe, healthy and happy. We strive to enrich their lives through compassionate caregiving. It's the core of what we do every day!

For the most part, Mt. Hope is supported by Medicaid, government assistance, that covers the cost of care for residents who are not able to afford it on their own; however, the program pays much less than the actual cost of care.  Due to cuts in funding, rising expenses, and fluctuating trends in giving, Mt. Hope needs additional financial resources.

Mt.
