Who We Are

Millport Conservancy is a nonprofit organization that was founded in 1988.
Visitors are welcome to use the trails along the restored Lititz Run, participate in Trout Unlimited’s catch and release fly fishing program, bird watch and enjoy one of the most beautiful areas of preserved land in Lancaster County. In 2008, the Conservancy began a partnership with Franklin & Marshall College to further extend the community benefitting from its presence. New activities include student events at the Conservancy, laboratory classes on environmental matters, and faculty-student collaborative research projects. The Conservancy also hosts programs for local elementary school students to foster knowledge of our natural heritage for all age levels.

Mission

The mission of Millport Conservancy is to protect and manage its land and waters as a sanctuary for native flora and fauna, while also providing educational opportunities for hands-on scientific research and community engagement.
