Lancaster-Lebanon Education Foundation

The Lancaster-Lebanon Education Foundation (LLEF) is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) charitable organization.  The overall purpose of LLEF is to provide financial and other support for learning opportunities and educational programs that benefit students of all ages within IU13 and/or its member school districts.  

LLEF funds raised through the ExtraGive will support Season of Hope—a program meeting some of the essential needs of IU13 students and their families.

Recipients of the 2025 ExtraGive shared how the funding supported them:

• “We are expecting a baby, and I am behind on my utility bill.”
• “I really need to get my son clothes that fit better.”
• “I just received an electricity cutoff notice and need to pay my bill."
• "My husband's working hours decrease in the winter, and I need to buy groceries."
• “I am a 15-year-old parent of a 16-month-old and I would like to purchase household supplies.”

All these individuals are IU13 students and/or their family members. IU13 students of all ages participate in a broad array of programs including Head Start/Early Head Start, Early Intervention, Job Training Services, Special Education, Itinerant Services, Nonpublic School Services, ELECT program (pregnant and parenting youth), and Community Education (adults developing their employment and academic skills).

The Lancaster-Lebanon Education Foundation supports the IU13 education community by enhancing learning opportunities for students of all ages. The Foundation is the leading advocate of advancing learning through educational support, innovation and enrichment in Lancaster and Lebanon counties.
