$5,000 Goal

Our unit serves youth ages 8 to 18 from all over Lancaster County and surrounding counties. We participate in multiple community services including Toys for Tots. Our unit helps develop leaderships skills, teamwork and pride in our community through substance abuse prevention, community involvement, ribbon earning and opportunities to travel the country with other units. The Young Marines become great leaders and develop skills that will follow them throughout their lives.

We volunteer with Toys for Tots, NorthEast Honor Bus, Wreathes Across America, VFW and so many more places. The youth learn first aid and CPR, how to read a map and navigate, and learn how to become a leader and a good citizen. They have opportunities to partake in encampments and even attend Leadership Schools and other summer camps through the Young Marines.

Mission

The Young Marines strengthen the lives of America's youth by teaching the importance of self-confidence, academic achievement, honoring our veterans, good citizenship, community service, and living a healthy, drug-free lifestyle.
