Join KTA for two ExtraGive Events on November 21st!

Lancaster County's ExtraGive is a day of charitable giving to nonprofits that enhance the community.  KTA has been proud to leave its mark on the trails of Lancaster County through hands-on trail work, supporting local trail clubs, and offering public programs that showcase the county's outdoor spaces.  

KTA ExtraGive Fundraising Hike on the Conestoga Trail
November 21, 2025 - 2:00-4:30 pm | Lancaster, PA  
Join KTA for a 5-mile fundraising hike along portions of this 63-mile trail. We'll parallel the Conestoga River and pass historic sites. Learn more and register here. 

KTA ExtraGive Happy Hour at South County Brewing
November 21, 2025 - 5:00-7:30 pm | Lancaster, PA 
Come join other hikers as we raise a pint to toast hiking trails and grab a bite at South County Brewing. 
No RSVP required; online donations encouraged and appreciated.    

The Keystone Trails Association is a statewide nonprofit organization. KTA's mission is to provide, protect, preserve, and promote recreational hiking trails and hiking opportunities in Pennsylvania.

🥾 Trail Advocacy: We support measures that protect hiking trails, hiking experiences, and the integrity of the environment.

🥾 Trail Protection: We work with volunteers, landowners, and land managers to secure access to hiking trails and preserve trail corridors.

🥾 Trail Care: We organize hands-on stewardship events and training workshops to maintain and expand hiking trails in Pennsylvania.

🥾 Trail Club Support: We offer member trail and hiking groups a variety of services and activities to foster a vibrant, volunteer- rich statewide hiking constituency.

🥾 Trail Promotion: We amplify hiking opportunities, encourage trail exploration, teach outdoor skills, and distribute trail information – to perpetuate low-impact outdoor enjoyment.
