“I’m so excited to have more knowledge about the plants surrounding us and how to have a better relationship with the earth.” - Sarah Krogh
Connecting people with the land is just the beginning.
In the face of today’s challenges, the Horn Farm Center is a place where people can rediscover their own resilience.
Through programs like gardening workshops and our Regenerative Grower Training program, a new generation of land stewards are learning to grow food for our community—ethically, ecologically, and abundantly.
Each year, students gain the skills and experience to start small farms, provide for their families, and strengthen our local food systems. These are the skills that help ensure everyone has access to healthy, nourishing food nearby, no matter what challenges arise.
Other programs teach critical skills to restore and care for local ecosystems. Each year, participants in the Ecological Gardener and Ecological Restoration training programs learn to transform degraded spaces into vibrant, biodiverse landscapes that support pollinators, wildlife, and people.
Further, through dozens of classes and workshops - from cooking and crafting to foraging and wilderness skills - we are building community resilience from the ground up.
As we prepare to open our new Education Center next spring, your support is more vital than ever.
If you’re able, please donate to support our community of learners and land stewards who are developing the skills to grow food, support nature, and work together for a healthier tomorrow. Your contribution will ensure that we can continue cultivating food, knowledge, and wellbeing for our community during these uncertain times.
