$50,000 Goal

We believe every person in Lancaster County deserves a safe, affordable place to call home. Stable housing transforms lives—whether someone is a senior on a fixed income, a veteran returning to civilian life, or a family experiencing homelessness.

This year when you donate to the fund, your dollars go directly to the Road to Home Capital Campaign supporting the Clay Street Emergency Shelter- the cities first permanent year-round operational low-barrier shelter since 2009.

Additional projects that support our most vulnerable residence cannot begin until the construction costs have been completed.

The need is urgent, and the opportunity is now.

Help to build a road to home.

ABOUT CLAY STREET EMERGENCY SHELTER - Opened on December 30, 2024, and hosted at Otterbein United Methodist Church in Lancaster City, CSES provides 85 beds as the city's first permanent, year-round, low-barrier emergency shelter since 2009. Through operational services provided by YMCA of the Roses, the shelter currently offers vulnerable adults a safe, warm, and welcoming place to sleep every night.
