Friendship Community

Friendship Community is a faith-based ministry cultivating the capabilities of Individuals with Intellectual Disability and Autism (ID/A). Every day, we walk alongside nearly 150 men and women—helping them discover purpose, embrace independence, and live with dignity in a community where they are truly valued.

Your support fuels three core programs that make this possible:

• Residential Services – Safe, loving homes where Individuals are supported by dedicated Direct Support Professionals, fostering independence, belonging, and daily joy.

• Life Enrichment – Friendship Community’s Life Enrichment program creates opportunities for Individuals to grow, connect, and thrive. Through spiritual, social, and recreational experiences, we empower Individuals to explore their interests, build friendships, and participate fully in their communities—both within Friendship and beyond.

• Heart Art Studio – A professional art studio day program where Artists with ID/A create and share their voices through art, educating and inspiring the broader community.

• Heart Gallery & Market - A vibrant space where creativity and community come together. Artists with Intellectual Disability and Autism share their voices through original works of art, while the Market showcases both their creations and unique products that celebrate inclusion. Every purchase directly supports these gifted Artists and helps build opportunities for meaningful work, independence, and connection within the community.
