Beat The Streets Lancaster

Beat the Streets Lancaster (BtSL) is a non-profit (501-(c)3) organization located in Lancaster City that seeks to empower underserved youth through the sport of wrestling. 

The sport of wrestling helps put into perspective how hard work and self-accountability can bring forth success in all aspects of life. Beat the Streets Lancaster programming provides cost-free wrestling practices, gear, competitions and more to give our youth the opportunity to accomplish their goals on the mat. In addition, BtS Lancaster has provided work-life developmental workshops and mentorship programs to prepare our student-athletes for life after wrestling. BtS Lancaster proudly partners with the School District of Lancaster to support and provide every opportunity for our kids from first grade all the way through JP McCaskey and beyond have the tools to succeed. 

In addition, BtS Lancaster is an accredited program of Beat the Streets National. This makes our chapter a piece of something bigger. We value the mission of Beat the Streets and are proud to be a part of the national organization that strives to enhance the lives of young men and women across the country not just through our great sport but through youth development.   

Beat the Streets Lancaster is proud to serve over 350 boys and girls annually across 6 programming locations in and throughout South Central Pennsylvania. Since 2016, over 40 BtS Lancaster student-athletes have gone on to pursue a higher education either in college, trade school, or enlisting in the military. In addition, over $1,000,000 has been invested into supporting this mission.

Just last year, 8 young men and women wrestlers have moved on to the college ranks competing while earning a higher education.

All donations are tax-deductable and go 100% towards the support of BtS programming. Thank you for your consideration towards our youth!
