For more than 10 decades, the American Cancer Society has been dedicated to pursuing better outcomes for every cancer, every life. Today, more people are surviving cancer than ever before, but there is still work to be done.

Encouraging Prevention - We help you take steps to prevent cancer or find it at its earliest, most treatable stages.

Providing Support - We offer programs and services to help cancer patients diagnosed each year in this country, and the 14 million cancer survivors – as well as their family and friends. We provide information, day-to-day help, and emotional support. And best of all, our help is free.

Access to Care - We're working every day to free the world from the pain and suffering from cancer, but we can't continue our progress while millions of underinsured and uninsured Americans don't have access to lifesaving cancer care.

Fighting for What's Right - We work with lawmakers to pass laws to defeat cancer and rally communities to join our mission.
