At A Scoop of Hope, we believe recovery should begin with dignity, compassion, and support. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to provide individuals transitioning into sobriety with backpacks filled with essentials, resources, and encouragement—because no one should have to start their journey empty-handed.

What began as a small idea—meeting a basic need with love—has grown into a community movement in Lancaster County. Each backpack we deliver is more than toiletries or supplies; it’s a message that says, “You are seen. You are valued. You are not alone.”

We partner with treatment centers, recovery houses, and local organizations to ensure that every backpack not only provides physical necessities, but also connects individuals to the resources and hope they need to take their next steps forward.
