The Director and founder, Lynn Leach lost her brother and her family struggled to find out how to go on. Along came a small puppy who gave her sister-in-law a reason to LIVE and she realized that if a small pup could save a human in need then the same was true in reverse and the dream of 2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue was born in 2010.
2018 we were able to find a brick and mortar location to call home and the Rescue Ranch was born. We dream of another location where we can add a boarding facility that will make the rescue self supportive and where we would love to put in a surgical center so that we can afford to once again do spine surgeries. We would also like to do low cost spay/neuter & dentals since so many fur buddies go without due to the expense. Finding a property that will allow this and having the funds to setup a surgical center and start with paying a vetrinarian and techs is a huge hurdle but we believe in miracles. We see them EVERY day :)
We work diligently EVERY day and no one is paid. Lynn lives at the ranch and gives her entire life to run the ranch 24/7 with no days off. Her dream is to find a few "seasoned" animal handlers who could live at the ranch for a weekend or a week and handle the day to day care so she could have some time with her family. Miracles happen every day!! We will continue this journey filled with loads of smiles and yes some tears and we will succeed! It is just a matter of how soon :) Life is a road of choices. We are a foster network working to save our fur buddies. 2 years ago we were blessed to find a brick & mortar building to call home. Our healthy, adoptable dogs are mostly in foster homes living life with families, sleeping in beds, eating good food and getting the love they so badly needed.
The ranch is the base for medically needy fur babies and seniors. These fur buddies will spend their lives with us, most of them. Being loved and cared for and knowing what it is like to have a place to really call HOME.
We look forward to a surgery center, therapy room & therapy pool coming to the ranch some day.

Our mission is to provide homeless and abandoned dogs with a second chance and a brighter future.
In doing this, our rescue organization will:
• Ensure loving and safe homes for these dogs for the rest of their lives.
• Encourage responsible dog ownership.
• Educate our youth in hopes to cease the need for shelters altogether.
Through dedication and perseverance, our volunteers will continue to be committed to the three E’s as long as there are dogs in need. We believe every dog deserves a 2nd Chance 4 Life.
