We believe every person in Lancaster County deserves a safe, affordable place to call home. Stable housing transforms lives—whether someone is a senior on a fixed income, a veteran returning to civilian life, or a family experiencing homelessness.
This year when you donate to the fund, your dollars go directly to the Almost Home Capital Campaign supporting the Wheelhouse Lofts on Prince and the Navigation Center- the next iteration for the housing and homelessness support campaign.
Clay Street Emergency Shelter gave our most vulnerable residence a place each night, the Wheelhouse looks to take them one step closer to housing stability. The Navigation Center aims to bring community resources and job readiness to those that live there and those in the neighborhood.
The Navigation Center located on the first floor of the three story building will provide basic essential services to those starting a new part of their journey. The space will offer healthcare support, employment services, laundry facilities, storage lockers, meeting space and community events like financial education and cooking classes. Additionally, it will provide both the residence of the lofts and the neighborhood
